The Senior Technical Business Analyst requires a deep understanding of both the technical and business aspects of investment management, with a strong emphasis on technical expertise. The candidate will have a proven track record in analysing complex systems, developing technical solutions, understanding CCLA data and ensuring seamless integration within our investment management processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Head of Projects and Project Manager(s) assisting with realising team objectives.
- Lead system integration projects, ensuring seamless connectivity between various platforms.
- Understand, design and implement data management strategies to optimise data flow and storage.
- Accountable for managing change at all stages: proposal, acceptance, work in progress, testing, operational readiness, go-live, review and closure.
- Elicit business requirements, initiating improvements in the current processes and producing project deliverables.
- Conduct data analysis and modelling to support decision-making processes.
- Work with the vendors to ensure that business requirements are met.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to design, implement, and test technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Utilise business analyst skills to translate information from subject matter experts across the business to capture processes, analyse requirements and implement changes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and user guides.
- Support the business to understand the systems and how they work.
- Communicate change objectives and updates through written documentation and oral presentations.
- Provide support and guidance and act as a mentor to Business Analysts within the Projects Team.
- Manage engagement with third parties assisting CCLA with change.
- Use own judgement for overall tasks, with the support from Project Manager(s).
- Ad-hoc duties as required.

Experience / qualification
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a relevant role at a UK based Asset Management company
- Demonstrable experience in a business analyst role
- Experience on implementing business systems (i.e. CRM/Client Portal)
- Experience implementing a Data Warehouse (i.e. Finbourne, Rimes, GoldenSource, SnowFlake etc) would be helpful, but not essential
- Business Analyst qualification (e.g. BCS/Agile)
