The fund’s investment objective and investment policy formally changed on 27 July 2022 to allow for a wider range of fixed interest securities and instruments. Portfolio management of the fund has been delegated to Federated Hermes under the oversight of CCLA and fund management remains the responsibility of CCLA. Performance up to 27 July 2022 reflects the previous investment strategy. These changes will be reflected in the fund’s Q3 2022 fact sheet.
Fund objective
Aims to generate a total return (income plus capital growth) of cash (represented by SONIA) plus 1.75% per annum (net of fees and expenses) when measured over a rolling three year period.
There is no guarantee that the investment objective of the fund will be achieved over any time period. Capital is at risk.
Fund policy
We confirm that the fund is managed in accordance with the policy set by the board.
Fund suitability
Suitable for charities with an investment horizon of at least three years, seeking returns from a portfolio of global fixed income securities and derivatives.
Who can invest?
Any charitable organisation defined within the meaning of the Charities Act 2011 can invest in the fund, providing its powers permit.
