Capital at risk. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. The value of investments and the income derived from them may fall as well as rise. Investors may not get back the amount originally invested and may lose money.
About the fund
The fund aims to provide a total return (income plus capital growth) of cash (represented by SONIA) plus 1.75% per annum (net of fees and expenses) when measured over a rolling three year period.
Portfolio management of the fund has been delegated to Federated Hermes under the oversight of CCLA.
Sustainability approach
We believe that the primary role of sustainable investment is to drive positive change. The fund applies a number of investment restrictions in accordance with our values-based screening policy.
The FCA has introduced sustainable investment labels to help investors find products that have a specific sustainability goal. This product does not have a UK sustainable investment label because it does not have a sustainability goal.
Read our summary of SDR, the investment labels and our overall approach. Fund-level information can be found here.
Investment approach
The fund will invest in a range of fixed and floating rate debt and/or debt related instruments issued by corporates and governments (government and public securities) including loans, inflation-linked securities, money market instruments and asset backed or other securitised products.
The fund is managed to ensure that its duration is less than 3.5 years, with the aim of reducing the effect of changes in interest rates on the fund’s value.
