CCLA today announces five appointments, reinforcing out commitment to delivering excellence in investment and client relationship management.
John McDougall and Eoghan Reid joined CCLA’s equities investment team as Global Equity Analysts. Prior to joining CCLA, McDougall worked at Ninety One specialising in European equities while Reid joins from J O Hambro Capital Markets.
Elliot Basford joined as Investment Analyst for CCLA’s alternatives team and joins from Beckett Asset Management.

These appointments reinforce our investment team’s research capabilities for our global equities and multi-asset funds. Their experience will help contribute to our aim of delivering strong investment outcomes across our client base of charities, local authorities and the UK retail investment market. As ever, we will work diligently to try to meet our clients’ financial objectives.
Ajay Johal joined CCLA as Client Investment Director. He was previously Director at Ruffer within the Institutional Team, where he oversaw Ruffer’s UK charity offering. He currently serves as a co-opted Investment Advisor to The Maudsley Charity.
Also joining CCLA is Hamish Dudgeon who has been appointed as Client Relationship Manager. Dudgeon joins from 7IM where he managed investments for private clients, trusts, and charities and developed a background in sustainable and ethical investing. Dudgeon serves as a charity trustee and participates in projects to alleviate homelessness, and in support of Wandsworth Prison, and his local church.
