Tim is responsible for asset allocation and determining its implementation across multi-asset and discretionary fund solutions. He is also responsible for third-party manager selection including alternatives with oversight of the cash and property teams.
Tim joined CCLA in 2017. He started in the industry in 1991, developing quantitative tools for fund managers and asset allocators at QUANTEC which was acquired by Thomson Financial in 2001, where he then led the portfolio analytics and quantitative tools businesses across Europe. In 2009, he joined the QEP investment team at Schroders as portfolio manager of global and emerging market equities with client responsibilities in EMEA and Asia.
Tim holds an MEng degree in electronic engineering from the University of Southampton and an MSc in applied statistics and stochastic modelling from Birkbeck, University of London. He also holds the Investment Management Certificate, the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing, the Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals (ASIP) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
